A story bigger than a sponsorship.

How do you elevate a defense contractor’s brand beyond its traditional audience while creating a meaningful connection between entertainment, military service and philanthropy?

Krow Media developed an immersive activation around the Captain America premiere at San Diego Comic-Con, bringing together LMT-INC, the Navy SEAL Foundation, entertainment personalities and military leaders.

Led by Brian Krow, the initiative connected LMT’s defense mission with a major entertainment event to expand visibility, create opportunities for media attention and support the Naval Special Warfare community.

Make the mission impossible to miss.

The objective was to increase LMT’s brand presence through an experience that moved beyond conventional defense-industry marketing—while remaining authentic to the people and mission behind the company.

01

Expand the audience

Introduce LMT to people beyond its established government and defense relationships.

02

Built at the intersection of mission and culture.

Five connected decisions transformed a premiere into an immersive brand experience.

01 / Brand alignment

Start with LMT’s mission.

Develop the activation around LMT’s defense and special operations work, connecting the brand to a cultural moment without losing sight of what the company stood for.

02 / Purpose-led partnership

Partner with the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Place a military nonprofit at the center of the experience, linking the event’s public visibility to support for Naval Special Warfare warriors, veterans and their families.

03 / Cultural platform

Connect with Captain America.

Use the film premiere and its themes of service, sacrifice and heroism to create a bridge between the entertainment and military communities.

04 / Immersive execution

Make the story tangible.

Bring together interactive military experiences, entertainment participants and a dedicated press headquarters to create opportunities for engagement and coverage.

05 / Defining moment

Honor Stan Lee with a military salute.

A stage presentation brought together entertainment figures, military representatives, LMT leadership and Navy SEAL Foundation leadership, connecting the cultural significance of Captain America with recognition of military service.

The experience

Don’t just tell the story. Let people enter it.

The activation went beyond signage and sponsorship. Interactive demonstrations and direct encounters with the military community gave attendees a tangible way to experience the world behind LMT’s mission.

Entertainment attracted attention. Purpose gave the experience meaning.

Visibility with a purpose.

The activation created value across brand visibility, media engagement, philanthropy and the way LMT’s story could be experienced.

Expanded brand visibility

Introduced LMT to audiences beyond its traditional market through a high-profile entertainment setting.

Media opportunities

Brought together the film premiere, celebrity participation, military demonstrations and philanthropic activities to create multiple avenues for press and social engagement.

Philanthropic support

Raised funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation, including support from the donation of a signed first-edition Captain America comic book.

A distinctive brand experience

Demonstrated how a defense company could participate in a major cultural event while staying connected to its mission.

Qualitative outcomes reflect the supplied project case study; independently verified reach, coverage and fundraising totals are not included.

When the story is authentic, the worlds connect.

The Captain America premiere brought together entertainment, defense and philanthropy through a shared narrative of service. Strategic partnerships and immersive execution expanded LMT’s brand story while creating support for the Navy SEAL Foundation.

For KROW., the project illustrates a consistent approach: find the authentic connection between an organization’s mission and its audience, then build an experience that brings it to life.
